Cutting List

Add every panel you need cut, choose the board and the edges that get PVC edging, and send it to us. The summary shows how many sheets your list should use.

1Board and edging

These are used for every new part. You can still change the board on any row.

Edging matches the board colour.

2Parts

All sizes in millimetres. Length runs along the grain. Tap the edges of the small panel to choose where edging goes.

    Measuring tips

    A good list saves boards and money.

    Measure twice

    Measure the space in three places and use the smallest number.

    Allow for the saw

    Each cut removes a few millimetres. Our sheet estimate already allows for it.

    Mark the grain

    On woodgrain colours the grain runs along the length. Tick "keep grain" so the part is not turned.

    Which edge is which?

    L1 and L2 are the two long edges, W1 and W2 the two short edges. Edge the sides people see and touch, usually the front.

    Doors and drawer fronts

    Doors usually get edging on all four sides. Use the "All" button.
